As many of you noticed, the previous post – Les Mis movie costumes being brought onstage – was indeed an April Fool's prank. April first is my favourite day of the year, so I couldn't resist the temptation to come up with an fake news article. I hope no one took it too seriously! Enjolras's vest is safe...
But all joking aside, there are some group-related things that I've been meaning to write about.

Recently, we've gotten many submissions that use screencaps from the musical movie. I'd like to remind everybody that in our
submission rules, it says
you may NOT submit any deviation that uses work you do not have permission to use (i.e. professional photos and screen shots.) Also, please choose the gallery folder you submit to carefully. I know it's really easy to submit to the wrong one, I've made my fair share of mistakes myself... So, I recommend everybody to take an extra look that the folder's correct before hitting that Submit button!

To all of you who are curious about what happened to the
LesMisExtended Visual Petition: one copy has now been sent to Tom Hooper, and another will be sent via a different address to double our changes of being seen. Physical copies of the petition consist of 25 pages of artwork and a letter of explanation. Here's to hoping they'll reach Mr. Hooper!

Finally, me and =
SarlyneART have been thinking about having a new contest later this spring. SarlyneART suggested a crossover contest where characters from two or more different adaptations or versions (the novel, the various movies, the musical, even the fighting game if you want to use that...) would interact with each other. What do you think about the idea? Would you consider taking part?
Have a lovely April, everybody!
