EDIT MARCH 9: The Les Misérables movie will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on March 22th in the USA and May 13th in the UK.
The US DVD release has less special features than the Blu-ray. It seems like the UK DVD and Blu-ray releases may be identical. They will have the following features:
The Original Masterwork: Victor Hugo's Les Misérables – mini documentary about Victor Hugo's novel and how it inspired the movie
The Stars Of Les Misérables – director discusses the cast
The West End Connection – a feature with Cameron Mackintosh (only on Blu-ray in the US)
Les Misérables On Location – cast and crew talk about the filming locations (only on Blu-ray in the US)
Creating The Perfect Paris – creating the Paris set
Battle At The Barricade – filming the barricade scenes (only on Blu-ray in the US)
Les Misérables Singing Live – the challenges of filming the singing live (only on Blu-ray in the US)
Feature Commentary With Director Tom Hooper
Sources: Hypable.com, Les Mis UK FB
As you can see, the DVD won't include deleted scenes. We can try to chance that – it's now the last weekend to take part in the LesMisExtended Visual Petition, a fanart collaboration we'll be sending to Tom Hooper to tell him the fandom wants to see what was deleted. Take part here, deadline March 10th!
What do you think about the DVD special features? Would you like to see something more?

Admin on Hiatus
Hello all.
For reasons related to work and studies, I have less time to spend online time than ever before. Therefore I'm afraid I do not have the time to keep LesMisClub (https://www.deviantart.com/lesmisclub) updated anymore. Maybe I will again, some day, but for now, it's an indefinite dA hiatus from my part.
In case someone feels like they'd like to take over the group and become an admin to help me out, please send me note on my personal account Starlene (https://www.deviantart.com/starlene). I will log in after a week or two to check that out. And in case no one's interested – I'm afraid I cannot but leave the group go unupdated. I am very sorry, but at the moment, I simply do not have the time

Hello everybody,
just a quick heads-up to thank you for your patience this summer. I'm back online again and will do my best to update the group more often again. Have a lovely August!
Greetings,

Hi all!
Long time, no talk. I'm just letting you know that for the next six or seven weeks, I'll be doing some traveling and will be largely away from keyboard. I'll still accept new submissions to the group gallery whenever I have time to visit dA, but seeing your submission in the group may take longer during the summer than usually. Thank you so much for your patience in advance already!
Hope you're all enjoying your summer (or

I'm back from my summer vacations and will be visiting dA regularily again. Thank you for your patience!
Hi guys!
Just a little notice: I'll be traveling, and hence away from keyboard, for the next two weeks. I'll try to visit dA during my trip, but I don't know if I'll get many chances to do so. So, if I'll you submit something to the group during the next few weeks, it might take it longer than usually to be approved in the gallery. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Hope you're having a lovely summer so far! Is anyone seeing a production of Les Mis this summer – or performing in one?

Barricade Day Approaching! + Affliate Group Collab
Hello all!
Barricade Day is almost here! Like every year, it's soon time to commemorate the failed June rebellion and celebrate all things related to Victor Hugo's Les Misérables. The fandom holiday is celebrated on June 5th and 6th – Thursday and Friday next week, that is! The real-life June rebellion happened on June 5th and 6th, 1832, and the fictitious events at the barricades in Les Misérables are also set on those dates.
What are your Barricade Day plans for this year?
What's more – if our recent Stage Redesigns contest still left you wanting more, our affliate group HearTheMizziesSing (https://www.deviantart.com/hearthemizziessing) has started a col
