We've only had 12 submissions out of our whole group... not quite the fandom showing I was hoping for. So I've decided, I'd rather extend the project and just have it be for our group and if it gets up on the Les Mis facebook page, then cool, but it's not for the US movie premiere or anything, but for us. To create something together that show us as a fandom and a group.
I'm extending the project time frame to the end of January and hope this means more of you will participate.
What I'd like to do is a photomanipulation of the fans! So all you have to do is upload a picture of yourself on a PLAIN BACKGROUND either dressed as your favorite Les Mis character, in a Les Mis t-shirt, or otherwise displaying your fan love (holding a sign... etc) by January 31 at 11:59 PM EST
Pictures must be uploaded to DeviantArt. The submission MUST BE SUBMITTED to the "Musical Tribute Folder" here in the group. ALL submissions must be submitted to the group BY January 31 at 11:59 PM EST Pictures may not include nudity or profanity. Pictures MUST show you from head to toe. You do not have to be standing, but I have to be able to see all of you! Pictures must be on a white/black (or otherwise plain) background! (I suggest a sheet) This will make it easier for me to crop you out and photoshop everyone together. I prefer white, but if you do not have white or are wearing mostly white, choose another PLAIN, SOLID COLORED background! All pictures MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING IN THE ARTISTS COMMENTS OR I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO INCLUDE YOUR PHOTO:"I __________ (fill in your name/username) do hereby give permission to Durnesque to utilize my photo in the movie tribute collaboration by the Les Mis Club. I understand that my picture will be included in a work of art that will be submitted to both DeviantArt and the Les Miserables Facebook group and therefore may be published and viewable worldwide."
